Terms of Service — TrustFusion

Last Updated: 7th August 2026

By purchasing, installing, or using the TrustFusion WordPress plugin, embeddable widget, or this site (reviews.webcitylab.com), you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose and Scope

TrustFusion, provided by Web City Lab through this site, retrieves and displays Google Business Profile (“GBP”) review data on your website — as a WordPress plugin, an embeddable widget (Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, custom HTML/PHP), or managed through this site’s dashboard. It offers two ways to retrieve review data:

  • A default, no-login lookup of publicly available review data by Google Place ID.
  • An optional official connection using Google OAuth 2.0 (scope: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage), or by adding our account as a Manager on your own Business Profile, either of which grants read access to reviews you manage.

2. License Grant and Site Limits

  • Each TrustFusion license key is issued for a specific plan tier (Single Site, or Up to 5 / 10 / 20 / 50 / 100 Sites), governing the number of separate websites that may activate that key simultaneously.
  • There is no limit on the number of Google Business Profile locations (“branches”) you may connect on any single activated site, regardless of plan.
  • Your license key is issued to you personally or to your organization and may not be shared, sublicensed, resold, or redistributed. We reserve the right to suspend any license key showing activation patterns inconsistent with its issued plan or a single legitimate owner.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You may only connect Google Business Profile locations that you legally own, manage, or have explicit authorization to access.
  • You are solely responsible for the security of your WordPress installation (if applicable), hosting environment, administrative access, and any API keys you configure.
  • You agree not to attempt to circumvent license or site-activation limits, exploit vulnerabilities, scrape or query this site outside of normal plugin/widget operation, or use TrustFusion to access data belonging to unrelated third parties.

4. Payment Processing and Merchant of Record

All purchases made through this site are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd / Paddle Payments Limited), acting as the Merchant of Record. Paddle is the authorized reseller of TrustFusion licenses and is responsible for processing your payment, handling applicable sales tax/VAT, and issuing receipts. Your purchase is subject to Paddle’s own Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms. Web City Lab does not directly collect or store your payment card details.

5. Subscription, Billing, and Renewal

  • Every paid plan begins with a 14-day free trial; no payment is collected until the trial ends. Your license key and plan details are emailed to you as soon as your trial or purchase is confirmed.
  • After the trial, paid licenses automatically renew for successive 12-month terms at the then-current price via your Paddle-stored payment method, unless canceled before the renewal date. Paddle sends its own billing notices ahead of each charge.
  • You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your dashboard at reviews.webcitylab.com/manage-your-reviews/ — no email or call required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: you keep full paid-tier access until then, and you will not be charged again.
  • Upon expiration without renewal (or once a canceled subscription’s final period ends), your site’s connected feature set automatically reverts to the free tier — no data is deleted as a result. Reviews and business profile data already synced remain intact and accessible, and paid-tier functionality resumes immediately if you resubscribe.

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on a license’s first charge (i.e., 14 days after your free trial ends, not 14 days after you started it): if TrustFusion doesn’t work for you, contact support@webcitylab.com within that window for a full refund, processed by Paddle to your original payment method. This guarantee applies once per customer per license tier and does not apply to automatic renewal charges or to accounts suspended for violating Section 2 or Section 3. Refund requests may also be submitted directly to Paddle in accordance with their Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for full details.

7. Data Handling and Architecture

  • No-login path: Review and business data displayed via the default lookup is retrieved through this site using publicly available data, without requiring any Google account access from you.
  • Official OAuth path: If used, your Google access and refresh tokens are encrypted and stored server-side on this site (not in your local WordPress database), used exclusively to fetch data for the specific business location(s) you authorized.
  • Local storage (plugin users): Synced reviews and business metadata are cached in your own WordPress database tables to enable fast, server-side rendering.
  • Frontend: If you use the WordPress plugin, your site’s public pages render reviews server-side with no live Google API calls, license keys, or tokens exposed to a visitor’s browser. If you use the embeddable widget instead, your license key is visible in the embed snippet’s page source by design, since the widget calls this site directly from the visitor’s browser — access is still bounded by your plan’s site-activation limit.

8. Places API Usage

The Google Places API is used, via this site’s key or your own configured key, to resolve a business name or Google Maps URL to a standard Place ID and to retrieve business/review data. If you configure your own Google Maps API key, you are responsible for properly restricting it to your domain or server IP address.

9. Review Data Accuracy and Availability

Review data retrieved via the default (no-login) path may use a combination of official Google APIs and other publicly available data-retrieval techniques. We do not guarantee that this data will be complete, real-time, or continuously available, and availability may change if Google modifies its systems. Where guaranteed, complete, and continuously supported data is required, use the official OAuth or Manager-invite connection described in Section 1.

10. Fair Use and Rate Limits

To protect shared infrastructure and API costs, requests to this site (including business search and review lookups) may be rate-limited. We reserve the right to throttle, delay, or suspend access for any site or license exhibiting abusive, automated, or excessive request patterns inconsistent with normal use.

11. Third-Party Service Compliance

By using TrustFusion, you agree to comply with all applicable Google terms, including the Google Business Profile Terms of Service, the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service, and the Google API Services User Data Policy. Any violation of Google’s third-party policies through your use of TrustFusion may result in suspension or termination of your access.

12. Intellectual Property and Restrictions

TrustFusion (plugin code, this site’s service, and associated documentation) is licensed, not sold, to you for use under an active license key as described in Section 2. You agree not to decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative products from TrustFusion for redistribution, and not to remove or obscure any licensing or attribution notices.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

TrustFusion is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Web City Lab does not guarantee TrustFusion will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully compatible with future changes to Google’s API architecture. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Web City Lab is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, TrustFusion.

14. Availability, Updates, and Changes

We reserve the right to modify features, functionality, or these Terms at any time. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes to pricing or plan limits will not retroactively apply to an already-active billing period.

15. Termination

  • You may stop using TrustFusion at any time. Disconnecting a business stops it from displaying on your site; deleting the plugin gives you the option to permanently remove its locally stored data. To fully revoke an OAuth-connected token, disconnect it directly from your Google Account’s Security settings or your Google Business Profile’s “People and access” list — see our Data Deletion Policy for full instructions.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a license for breach of these Terms, non-payment, license-key sharing/redistribution (Section 2), or abusive use (Section 10).

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by generally applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of TrustFusion will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties before either party pursues any other available remedy. Disputes relating specifically to payment processing are subject to Paddle’s own Buyer Terms.
